My Three Favorite Pictures

Pierce - 7 months
Emery - 9 weeks

Asher - 3 weeks

My 3 favorite pictures. Pretty cute babes if I do say so myself. This morning Pierce asked me if I remembered when he was a baby and he was on daddy's shoulders haykid (naked) outside.

Anniversary Dinner, Take 2 - Lobster Gram

Chad and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary this past Monday. We had the fabulous idea of taking the family out for hibachi. In theory this was a great idea. We would get to enjoy a delicious dinner, and Pierce would have a fabulous time watching the guy perform all his tricks, while Asher slept peacefully in his car seat. I knew that wasn't going to happen when they took our order and Pierce insisted on macaroni and cheese! Needless to say, it went downhill from there. The guy started with a small fire, and Pierce screamed in terror and spent the rest of the time crawling around underneath the table. Asher decided to join in too, and started his evening fussies a little early. We made quite a scene and I am sure they were glad to get us out of there!
The next day we received a lobster gram from Oma, with 2 live lobsters. YUM! I made Chad do the honors. They were delicious, but I did feel a little bad. When Pierce asked what was for dinner, I told him lobster. He thought that we were going to feed the lobsters dinner and then put them in his fish tank. He didn't eat any lobster, but he did have fun with the bib!

Baby Shower Announcement

I can't believe it is almost June! I have a lot of work to do planning my sister's baby shower. Chad did a great job designing the invitations. Aren't they super cute!

My Guys

Here's a picture of my guys relaxing on the couch after a hard day of working in the yard!
A picture of Asher with an almost smile!

Who's Your Daddy

I was recently asked by someone reading my blog if Asher had a father. I guess I haven't been too good about posting pictures with Dad. He has been so busy doing yardwork it has been hard to catch him when he isn't covered head to toe in dirt! Anyway, here's the proof. They don't look very much alike, but in the bottom picture you can see that they have both perfected the squinty eyed scowl.

Don't Give Me No Bull

This is Pierce's new favorite facial expression. I like to call it "Don't give me no bull". Oh, I can imagine those teenage years already!

Thank Goodness For Girlfriends With Talent

My girlfriend Callie took these beautiful photos a few weeks ago. Isn't she SO talented! She was even nice enough to come to my house to take them! I knew after having Pierce that I really wanted some artistic baby pictures taken of Asher (maybe even a couple with me included). I think Pierce was 3 months old before I even showed up in any pictures. I have since learned that this activity is not exactly a husbands idea of a good time, especially since he is given the strict instructions to make me look like I lost every pound I packed on during pregnancy (even though I just had the baby 2 weeks ago and still have 30 to go). I still don't think that's an unreasonable request. Thank goodness for girlfriends!
