Giddyup Lil' Pardner

Scrunchy face

This can NOT possibly be my sweet little baby standing already!
Isn't my little Ashy just too cute for words? He LOVES to play in his nursery. He is particulary fond of his rocking horse, and oh yes, it sings ("I'm a pretty pony, such a pretty pony, clippety clop, clippety clop")! We all know the words by heart.

We Love Crackers

Need I say more?

The Magnificent Skywalker

OK, I admit it. I OCCASSIONALLY indulge Pierce with a happy meal from McDonalds on friday afternoons, IF he has been a particularly good boy, and IF I happen to have a craving for an extra large sweet tea with light ice. Well, this particular happy meal came with an Anakin Skywalker keychain (I was just thrilled. You know how much I love the Star Wars). Isn't he friendly looking? Pierce loves his new little bobble and has taken to calling him "The Magnificent Skywalker". I have no idea why, or where he even heard the word magnificent! Looks like I'm going to have to keep this little gem of a Micky D's trinket around for a while before chucking it while he's as preschool.

4th Birthday Bowling Bash

Learning the ground rules before the party.
Ready to start bowling!
He's a natural!
Cake time
It took a few puffs to blow out ALL THOSE CANDLES
Well, the big party is over and it was definitely a success. The kids had a blast bowling, eating pizza and cake, then playing some games in the arcade. I think my ears have finally stopped ringing. It was loud! Thank you to all our friends and family for the awesome birthday gifts. Pierce loved every single one, and hasn't stopped playing with them. I don't know how we're going to top this birthday!

And A Cheerio For the Road

It took nearly 11 months, but Asher is now eating solid foods. His food of choice is cheerios, but he also enjoys mommy's homemade pears and sweet potatoes. Here are a few pictures of him enjoying his breakfast. Take a close look at the last picture. He's packin some cheerio in those pants! I'd like to say I noticed it right away, but he carried that little nugget around with him all morning.

Ready, Set....Robot Birthday

We're getting ready for the big robot birthday party! Here is a picture of the practice cake (the final version will not have a yellow flowered cakeboard), the soap buddies I made for the goody bags, and the invitations. All we need now are the bowling shoes!
