Who knew egg cartons could be so fun at 7 am!
I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted a new blog. I'm making good use of my time as Asher is happily swinging and Pierce is at the babysitter. Asher is 6 weeks old tomorrow and weighing in at a whopping 13 pounds! He smiled for the first time yesterday, but I haven't caught it on film yet. Just look at those sweet faces. Now you've got to admit that those are some seriously cute boys!I'm adjusting well to mommyhood with 2 boys. Our days consist of changing diapers, napping, playdates and sneaking in 20 minutes on the elliptical when no one is looking. One aspect of my new role as stay at home mom that I could live without: I am now the go to lady for all septic, lawn care and insects in your kitchen problems.
Here are a couple of lessons I've learned so far:
1. Don't dry diapers on the deck on a windy day
2. A truckload of mulch in your driveway provides endless fun for a 3 year old
3. Don't even try doing your hair. You can't even imagine the trouble a preschooler can get into in 10 minutes.
