Water Baby

Asher is definitely my water baby. We signed him up for swimming lessons and he LOVES it! I don't mean to brag or anything, but he is the star pupil in his class. That boy can splash like nobody's business. Last week he even went underwater. But the best part of all is the fabulous nap he takes afterwards!
Pierce came along to watch last week (you can see him taunting the swimming instructor from the sidelines in the bottom picture). They didn't have a spot for him this session, but he has informed us that he is going to need lessons as soon as possible in order to become a scuba diver. This will be tricky considering he doesn't even let me pour water over his head to wash his hair.

Dear Mrs. Butterworth.....

Dear Mrs. Butterworth,
Have you ever considered a baby proof cap? Please.
Signed,

Learning My Letters

Just look at my big boy learning his letters! He loves these boards that you can write on with a dry erase marker and trace the dotted lines to make words. We're working hard on our alphabet. Pierce told me that he really really wants to read!

Twins?

Oma sent us these cute matching shirts a while ago and I thought I would take a nice picture of the boys wearing them. You can see how well it went. Somehow poor little Asher always ends up getting tackled, but he takes it in stride. Unfortunatley you can't see the cute little alien on the front of the shirt that says "be green". Anyway, thanks Oma. The shirts are adorable.

We're Back!

I can't believe the holidays are over! We had a wonderful time visiting with family and are glad to be back home safely and getting back to our regular routine. I decided to take a break from my job as official family photographer and just sit back and enjoy our holidays. As a result we have almost no pictures from our trip. The top picture is one of Asher sleeping in our bed at Grandma's house. Doesn't he look peaceful? He's completely worn out from keeping me up all night. The bottom two pictures are taken by my photographer in training (Pierce). He was having a fun time with our wireless remote.
